Some of the poetry is bad, the rest is really awful, but since I am
doing oh so well already, it couldn't hurt.

There once was a braggart from Nantucket
Whose picks were so bad they did 'suck it'
He drew names from a hat
And ignored every stat
He picked the guys Dunn, Vick and Duckett.

When the Saints go visit the Vikes
Culpepper's INTs make fans go "Yikes!"
The Crescent City it's true
May still be hip deep in goo
Will not want their players atop pikes

The battle of bays held in Wisconsin
With tundra too warm to be froze-in
The fans with heads of cheese
Will wish they had Drew Brees
As the Buccaneers notch another wuh-in

A dolphin may not a fish be
A panther may not climb a tree
Carolina's win was not token
Ricky's still out for tokin'
I hereby pick the Panthers by three

Since Cleveland is not playoff bound
And Indy's defense is most sound
Because Peyton is my guy
The Colts will make me cry
As they beat the Browns on the ground

The Cardinals were beat by St Louie
The Ravens were beat by Tennessee
Both birds they are weak
But the losses that first week
The Rams over the Titans I see

The Lions this week have a bye
The tigers battle the Bears, oh my
Since the Bengals are rollin'
Chicago's hopes will be stolen
Perhaps I should give Palmer a try

Well it seems like the Jacksonville Jags
Are not the darlings of us brag's
The Jets are more our taste
It will seem such a waste
As the Jets go to the curb in bags

After starting the season so low
And striking such a mighty blow
The reporters still don't see
Another Eagles victory
They are focused on McNabb and T.O.

As two birds play in the city, Seattle
The one from Arizona should rattle
Kurt Warner is no snake
This win he won't take
The Seahawks get victory this battle

The Cowboys of Dallas are strong
But the road to the playoffs is long
The 'Niners ship already does leak
So the 'boys should win this week
But next week will we still be singing their song?

The Pats they say is a dynasty
They think the Steelers are just tasty
Big Ben's no longer a rookie
Make calls to your bookie
As Pittsburgh makes New England go pasty

The Giants travel away to San Diego
Why in the world would they want to go?
It would be such a shame
For them to lose the ball game
And have to deflate their pompous ego

The Chiefs of the plains go west and up high
Off to Denver in a plane they must fly
Away from their abode
They will win on the road
But KC will lose once before the bye
