Tonight, a last-second jump ball in the end zone will be caught by a WR and DB simultaneously, causing two officials to make opposing calls of touchdown and touchback, leading to a mass outcry for the return of replacement officials. It's hard to pick against the home team opening the season as Super Bowl champs. I'm going with the Seahawks. WAS - The Texans defense won't be able to save them at the QB position. Washington wins. KC - The Chiefs, at home, against an average team. No brainer. NE - Is this the game that Tannehill and Wallace break out? Against New England? Not likely. NYJ - Thank you, DirecTV, for not making me watch this game, as so many cable subscribers in the NYC area will have to. PHI - Philly may be the surprise NFC team this season, but the Jags are not a fair test. PIT - Even as poor as the Steelers looked in the pre-season, this is still the Brownies we're talking about here. MIN - The Rams won't win many games this season. Bradford wasn't great yet, but Hill never will be. CHI - Daaaaaaa Bearsss BAL - This is likely the game of the day, and the toughest pick in my opinion. Coin flip, home team. NO - The Falcons should be better this year, but I'll rarely bet against Easy Breesy. CAR - Cam may not play, but it may not matter. SF - All you have to say is... Romo DEN - If only there were an obvious storyline for this game that the media could overhype. Hmmm, nope, can't think of one. DET - If Eli doesn't wake up soon, he won't get a chance to beat Brady in a Super Bowl thrice ARI - Both the Cardinals and Chargers should be fun to watch this year. Tough call.
