Hypothesis: better teams win more often. (Obviously)
Fact: the NYGiants are 0-and-2 and Washington is 1-and-1.
Conclusion: the 'skins should be the better pick.
Anti-thesis: this season is playing out weird.
Synthesis: I pick the Giants for the win!

Hotlanta is 2-and-0 going up against - now with one more win and much less Romo. Gotta pick the Falcons to win.

Colts finally get off the schnide in Nashville showing the Tennessee Tuxedos how its done.

The Are-We-Moving-Back-To-LA Raiduhs win on the road at the no-Johnny-Football-this-week Cleveland Browns.

Bungles at Ravens. Andy Dalton has thrown 5 TDs and no picks - and while General Ackbar is probably right, the Ravens haven't looked like a good defense without Suggs. Gotta take the Bungles.

The We-Really-Ought-To-Be-Moving-To-LA Jagulars totally demolish the Patriots. And monkeys fly out of Diller's butt!! And in spite of all the demolition, New England still wins. Yeah, I'm picking the Pats.

I know I picked the Aints to win the division, but it looks like I should have picked the Falcons since Norleans can't even take care of the Bucs. Gotta pick Carolina to win until Norleans shows us anything.

The Iggles have struggled, and it doesn't get any easier in the first of Philly's 2 trips to the Big Apple. Jets win to keep pace with the Pats.

Which Tampa team will show up? Will we see the one that couldn't beat Tennessee, or the one that took care of business against Norleans? Until the Houston Hoyerlers can find a viable quarterback, it doesn't much matter. Texans lose.

This week sees the Are-We-Moving-To-LA Bolts going to Minnesota to contend against the We-Threatened-To-Move-To-LA-But-Didn't Vikings. It may not mean much, but in week one, rookie RB Melvin Gordon got 3.6 yards each in his 14 carries against Detroit, and 5.5 yards-per-carry for 88 yards against Cincinnati in week 2. Also in week 2, AP got 4.6 yards-per-carry for 134 against Detroit. Bridgewater completed over 75% of his passes, but Philip Rivers completed over 80%. Bridgewater averaged 8.5 yards per each of his 18 attempts while Rivers averaged almost 9 yards per each of 27 attempts. Bridgewater threw for a TD (and ran for another) while Rivers threw for 2, and one pick. Their offenses seem so comparable, and while the Vikings have the better D, they also have an unreliable kicker. I was on the verge of picking the Bolts but then I discovered that this is the first time a Norv-Turner-coached-team has played against the Chargers since they fired him. And Norv has always won his first matchup against every team that has fired him. So I'm going with the Vikings.

Steelers over the Are-We-Moving-Back-To-LA Rams. The Steelers have at least been competitive in both of their games. The Rams only needed to show up to beat a woeful Washington team, and the best they could manage was to send shadows of their former selves. I pick Pittsburgh to win, although the Rams could drink some more of Dr Jeckyl's formula to get back to their winning ways (but beware of long-term side effects). Argh. And then I remembered that the Rams are going to try-out their new RB this week... but I stick with Pittsburgh.

Cards over 9ers. Its a good thing (for the 9ers) that they won against the hapless Vikings, because their division may not give them a single victory.

The Dolphins leading rusher against the Jags was... their QB (3 for 17yards). The rest of the team got 25 yards averaging just under 2 yards per carry. A team with a poorly performing offense and an inconsistent defense is no match for Buffalo. Bills win in week 3.

Why did Jay Cutler get injured? It seemed like a better idea than starting against the Legion of Boom. Seattle wins. Finally.

Hunh. Denver's awsome D on the road against the Lions still-tough D. This would be a great week for the Motor City Kitties to make a statement, but Denver has had an extra couple days to get ready, and I'm afraid that Broncos win. Again.

KC and the Sunshine Band travel to Lambeau on Monday night. I had a whole suite of song-title jokes I was going to make, but it seemed... cheesy. So skip the comedy and just realize that while Aaron Rodgers streak of passes without a pick might fall tonight, the Packers streak of winning home games will not. Pack wins.
