So, after another promising start, here I am, desperately fighting for my bragging-rights life in the playoffs... not unlike my Vikings. Hunh. I want the Steelers in the playoffs... and a Vikings-Steelers rematch Super Bowl. So of course the Jets are going to spoil that dream and beat the Bills. The Patriots have really fallen off the pace, but not so badly that they'll lose to Miami. Fins lose. I'll take Hotlanta (at home) over the Aints, and da Bears at home over the Motor City Kitties. With Tom Coughlin coaching for his playoff life, and Chip Kelly, well, ... not, ... er, um, ... with the Iggles trying to get better draft standings so they can hope to fill the half-dozen or so major holes on the team,... and with the Iggles down one starting CB and a pro-bowl WR returning for the New Jersey Jiants... I gotta pick the Iggles to lose. I also pick 'skins to win out over the 'boys. I pick the Tennessee Tuxedos to beat the Wait-Who-Is-Our-Starting-QB-Colts? Yes, yes I do. Which, by-the-way, answers any question about the Dolts making the playoffs with an exclamation point!! ( <= just like that). The Bengals gotta win to have a shot at a bye, and they do (win, that is, over the Ravens). The Steelers take care of business against the Browns, winning big. For all the good it will do them. I'll take the Houston Hoyerlers to beat the Jags. I have to believe the Chefs will win at home with a shot at the division title on the line. Raiduhs lose. However, Denver will demolish the hapless Chargers not only to win the division but also secure a bye. Tampa Bay can play spoiler by winning and condemning the Panthers to 2nd seed... but they don't. Carolina wins. The Shehawks need to win for ... nothing in particular. So they lose. The niners suck against any team except the Vikings, apparently, so the Rams win. and finally, the Vikings beat the Packers. Because the Packers know that if they make a big push and win... their "reward" is to play the Vikings again the next week.
