Another decent Thursday night game-who would have thought?  The NFL has its act together.  Of course all good things must come to an end as evidenced by next week's game.  The teams that are playing next Thursday are referenced in an episode of Taxi where Latka is watching his first football game and makes a non-PC (and non Apple) comment about the players.  Flutie Flakes for the first person to mention the comment!

All things being equal and these teams are pretty equally matched I take Alex Smith since it's a home game.  Chiefs for the win.


So the Chiefs really choked big time and Omaha Man got a win.  Here is the rest of the week's games.

Panthers go 2-0

Steel Curtain for the win since Niners on the East Coast travel as well as 3 day old sushi.  Plus it's a short week and I don't thing the defense is capable of stopping Big Ben.

Dem Saints win since Jameis will get into trouble in the French Quarter and steal some oysters and gumbo.

Lions win and Vikings are 0-2.

Cardinals beat da Bears.

Tom Brady's balls o' fire and softness beat the Bills.  And that's what they all say.

Bengals go 2-0.  Hue Jackson might get another head coaching job yet.

Titans win this one.  Hopefully Marcus Mariotta is not a fluke. 

Giants since I am not convinced that the Falcons are for real even if they defeated the Eagles.  Road game too.

Rams over the team whose name is now taboo.

Fish win the Battle of Florida. Not that anyone outside of Florida gives a damn.  Then again more people in Florida care about the UM-University of Florida game.

The Edgar Allen Poe birds win this one.

Another season and Sam Bradford is hurting.  That's a constant.  Cowboys for the game.

In the best game of the night and a potential NFC Championship game preview, I go with Green Bay.
