Carolina over Denver. Both teams have a Defense, so this one is extra-personal for Cam... he cannot look himself in the mirror if he can't beat QB whatshisname. Week one is so heavily influenced by emotion, and they may not want to talk about revenge, but the Panthers won't be able to keep themselves from getting pumped over this game, while for the Broncos, this has got to so ... uhmhumdrum compared to the Super Bowl. I mean, "Hey, didn't we just beat these guys in a Really meaningful game?"

Packers over Jags.  Again, I'm picking the better QB.

KC over the where-are-we-from-anyway-Stupor-Chargers.

Andy Dalton is Not playing in a playoff game this week. Bengals win.

How many series did Carson Wentz play with the first team offense in preseason?  He had only 39 snaps, and I'm not sure if Any were with the 1st-stringers. Unless Carson Wentz is the re-incarnated combination of Troy Aikman, Andrew Luck, and Peyton Manning, he's going to lose. Actually, all of those guys lost their first games, too...  I'll take the Browns to beat the Iggles.

Vikes over Tuxedos. Again, emotion. Coach Zimmer will relentlessly remind the team of their flat opening last season and how they lost to the <shudder> 9ers, and they will do what they must to get to 1-0.

Texans over da bears.

Normally this would be where I point out that Coach Rex Ryan is a master of getting his team pumped up... but I think the Ravens also thrive on emotion, but Coach Harbaugh is also good at getting his team pointed in the right direction. I take the Ravens to beat the Bills.

Falcons over Bucs. Neither team is what they used to be...

Blowout of the week special?  Seahawks over Fins. 

NYGints over the Cowpokes. New York is good at giving the game away, but Dallas is slightly better.

Colts over Kitties.  Alas, poor Megatron! We knew him, Horatio:  a receiver of infinite skill, of most excellent speed.  He hath borne the Lions on his back a thousand times; and now, how abhorred in Michigan and Detroit it is!

Cards over Patriots.  No undefeated season for New England this year.

Man, Pittsburgh was sloppy last season, but I think they'll do better this year. Steelers over the Washington Ready-To-Wears.
