A pair of 1-2 teams, both desperate for victory... I gotta go with the Bungles. Apparently my prediction that Garoppolo would get hurt and the Pats would win anyway was the high-water mark for my Bragging Rights season and I am now unable to understand anything about the NFL. Premature senility is always so tragic. But, I did notice that the Sunday games start very early, so I'd better get my picks in while they are still relevant. Or maybe I'd be better off not getting them in... hmmm... . First quarter, the easy picks! Broncos defeat Bucs Pantlers beat the Falcons Ravens over Raiduhs ... (I can't believe I'm saying this: Go Raiduhs!) Texans shred Tuxedos ... go Tennessee Tuxedos!! Second quarter, circle the wagons time! Cincy over the Fins the Bengals fight to get to .500 Patriots over the Bills the Patriots just fight. Ok, maybe Rex Ryan has occasionally had the Pats number in the past, but surely not this year! Inconceivable!!! The Jets over Seattle again, fighting to get to .500 Cards over Rams fighting for their Division. Whoever loses this game might not even make the playoffs. Which will not be a shocker for the Rams. Third quarter, split decisions... Vikings over Giants the New York Giants will be fighting for revenge for their drubbing last season on Monday night, and now they have better wideouts. But so will Minnesota, and I still pick the better team. Lions squeak past da Bears A game in which two decent offenses (da Bears O is actually above average against every D they've faced) face two dinged up defenses. I pick the Lions to win only because I think Stafford can exploit Chicago more than Hoyer can exploit Detroit. That said, go Bears! Steelers over Chefs Wow. I was sure the Steelers could handle the Iggles, but not so much. How will they rebound? I'm guessing they beat the Chefs, but I think I'd go the other way if this game were played in KC... Fourth quarter, garbage time! Chargers over Aints two past-their-prime QBs and not much else... Colts over Jags poor London, home of irrelevant football games. Ready-or-Nots over the Browns Cowgirls over 9ers the Cowhands get their O rolling just in time to face a 9ers squad that is giving up 40+
