Falcos defeat Iggles.  Philly in disarray, Hotlanta has been wanting to make a statement since almost beating a hot Philly team in the playoffs last year.

Augh.  I was going to pick Tuxedos over Fins, easy, but then Tennessee got bit by injuries, badly.  Missing your starting right tackle, an important pass rusher, and a critical linebacker hurts TN..., although I'm not sure having four quarterbacks on the roster will help Miami win.  I still take the Tennessee Tuxedos.

Vikings over 9ers.  Something tells me the MN coaches have made the team watch footage of the last time they opened against SF.

Wow.  Last year, NE really looked awful early in the season.  Two years in a row would be a trend...   I'm taking the Texoids, in my first stab at a Bold Pick.

Aints over Bucs.  At least Tampa has three games to try and find a real QB, before the fake one comes back.

Sacksonville over Gints.  Will Eli Manning even survive the day?

You know, "Luck over the Bungles," just sounds SO perfect.  But until I see Luck in action again, I'm taking Cincy to win.  I'm guessing, of course, because who knows how much rust still needs dusting off...

If the NFL were to script this season, they would definitely have the Browns beat the Steelers.  What better way to up the ante on LeVeon Bell's return?  Alas, I expect Steelers over Browns.

Ravens over Bills.  Get it together, Buffalo!!  No one wants to see you turn into North Cleveland, or East Detroit!!

If history is any guide, the Bolts will keep it oh-so-close, then seize defeat from the jaws of victory... but I'm picking the Super Chargers to win this one.  Even without Joey Bosa.  Bold Pick number two?

Washingtoon has a new QB, AtoZ has a new head coach.  Who the F--- knows?  I'll flip a coin and take the home team.

Why did Norv Turner quit in MN?  Because he couldn't work with a ravaged O-line.  So what does he have now in Carolina?  You guessed it.   I think the 'boys will win, but  I'm absolutely certain we will find out a lot about Cam and Dak in this game...

Seattle never starts well on the road.  Plus, this year, they have to start in Denver's thin air, which is great for kickers and usually no one else on the visiting team.  Broncs over Hawks.  Of course, if QB quality matters most, then...  argh.  I hate picks like this.

Everyone expects the Jets to lose, but these ARE the Motor City Kitties...   Sam Darnold gets dumb luck and wins his first game.  Detroit fans lose their cool.

Q:  Da Raiduhs D wasn't very good _with_ Khalil Mack,* how do they imagine they'll stop the Rams without him?   A:  They aren't planning on winning.  Rams win.  Oakland is tanking this year to get great draft picks next year.  The only way the Mack trade makes any sense is if they have opted for rebuilding mode.
