So, usually when two winless teams meet, you know SOMEBODY is going to come out of it with a win. But not this year. Nope. This is 2020. Cincinnati and Philly are already the poster kids for proving that winless teams can meet... and still both be winless. Which is relevant because this Thursday we have another stinker. Denver at the Jets, both of them 0-and-3. Normally, you'd think, "one of 'em has to win, right?!" But no. Denver ought to win, but they're banged up. The Jets have no business winning. Clearly this game is begging to end in another tie. If it does end in a tie (or the Vikings - Texoids game, since they're both 0-3 as well), I wonder if 2020 will include riots of fed-up sports gamblers in Vegas. Probably not, because so much sports betting is done online now... My prediction for this Thursday game is that it will end either with a Denver win... or a tie. Having gone out on a limb and said that over 24 hours before kickoff, it seems safe for the rest of you to pick the J-E-T-S ... Denver already won, limiting how bad this week can be. Cincy and Dallas win at home. So do San Francisco and Chicago. Aints and Seagulls win on the road. The Chefs win... unless it's postponed. Hunh. Ravens and Cardinals win on the road. Houston and L.A. win at home. (L.A. also loses on the road.) Falcons and Raiduhs win. If I missed any, flip a coin and take the consensus pick.
